Four-day closure for section of A6
A section of the A6 will be closed for a number of days later this month.
The traffic order, and others like it, can be found on the Public Notice Portal and in the print edition of the Northants Telegraph every week.
The A6 from the junction with Higham Road, Burton Latimer, to the A510 roundabout, will be closed for up to four days from Friday, October 30, for safety reasons during carriageway coring works.
Drivers are advised to use the A6, A510 and A14 as diversions.

Other upcoming road closures include the length of Cannon Street, Wellingborough, from Cross Road to Midland Road for safety during trench and cable work.
The proposed order will come into effect on October 30 and it is expected that the road will be restricted for up to three days.
For alternative routes use the A510, A509, A45 and A5193.
Also in Wellingborough, the length of Regent Street from no 43 to Bell Street will be closed from Wednesday, November 4, for up to three days.
This is for safety during new water connection works.
Motorists should use Great Park Street and the A5128 instead.
In Geddington, Queen Street from outside no 12 and no 18 will be closed for up to three days from Thursday, October 29, for sewer maintenance.
Use West Street and the A4300 instead.
An overnight closure of Rothwell Road, Kettering, 20 metres either side of the rail crossing, will come into effect on Saturday, October 24, to allow a Network Rail inspection.
The closure will be from 10pm until 6am on Sunday, October 25.
Warren Hill, the A43 and A6003 are recommended alternative routes.
Back in Geddington, access to the length of West Street from Stamford Road to Lee’s Way will be restricted for up to three days from Saturday, October 24, for sewer repairs.
Motorists can use Bridge Street, Queen Street and the A4300.
