Northamptonshire Police have confirmed that emergency services are on the scene of a road traffic collision on the A45 between Earls Barton and Great Doddington.

Northamptonshire Police are currently attending a road traffic collision on the A45 eastbound between Earls Barton and Great Doddington.

The collision took place at about 2.30pm and involved a van and a car, a spokeswoman for Northamptonshire Police has told the Chronicle & Echo.

No serious injuries have been reported but both vehicles are damaged.

There have been no road closures announced but long queues of traffic have been reported on the A45 as officers deal with the incident.
