Diesel spill caused congestion on A14 in Kettering
and live on Freeview channel 276
Severe delays and traffic on the A14 westbound in Kettering yesterday (Thursday) were caused by a diesel spillage.
A spokesman for Highways England said the diesel spill happened near junction 7 yesterday morning and was reported at about 5am.

Hide AdIt took until 3pm to clear the spill and congestion got worse when a vehicle broke down in the live lane at around 1pm.
The vehicle was quickly removed but congestion took a while to clear.
Witnesses reported seeing traffic at a near standstill and backing up to Telford Way, Kettering.
