Northamptonshire rail passengers face delays and cancellations during Monday's morning rush-hour.

Operator East Midlands Railway says a points failure on the route to St Pancras International is likely to disrupt services to and from Corby, Kettering and Wellingborough until mid-morning.

A spokesman said: "There is a points failure at Radlett between London St Pancras and Luton Airport Parkway and this is disrupting our trains on the London St Pancras route.

"Network Rail are arranging a fault team to go to site, they are expected to arrive at 8.25am.

"Trains running through the area in the Luton direction from London St Pancras, will be delayed up to 25 minutes. Trains running through the area in the London St Pancras direction from stations in Northamptonshire are also now being delayed up to 15 minutes.

"You should continue to travel as originally planned however your journey may be delayed by up to 25 minutes. We are sorry for these delays but if your overall journey has been delayed over 15 minutes you may be entitled to claim compensation. Please check our website for details.
