Congestion on the M1 from Northampton to Newport Pagnell Services due to earlier broken down vehicle
All lanes have been reopened since the incident was first reported
There are currently reports of queuing traffic on the M1 due to vehicle breaking down earlier this afternoon near Northampton (April 8).
There is a lot of congestion between the Towcester and Daventry junctions on the M1 and even more congestion at Newport Pagnell Services towards Milton Keynes.
One lane was earlier closed after the vehicle had broken down but all lanes have since been reopened.
