The first closure is on Monday (February 20), with the closures being in operation from 10pm each night until 6am the next day.

The closures will then take place every night until the final closure on Saturday (February 25), which will see the road re-opening at 6am on Sunday (February 26).

Interserve has issued a traffic management bulletin to make motorists aware of the closures, with traffic being diverted via the A6, A510 and A509 while this stretch of the road is closed.

The closures are part of ongoing work to provide access to the new Rushden Lakes retail and leisure development, which is due to open in July.
