Three men pretending to be police officers attempt to burgle Corby house

The incident took place in Ridding Close on Wednesday, January 20, at some time between 9.45pm and 10.15pm when the offenders climbed over a fence and tried to force their way into the back door.

One of the men was wearing a high visibility jacket and one of the other men shouted police a number of times while trying to break into the house.

The offenders were disturbed by the homeowner and fled towards Oakley Road.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have any information regarding it.
