James Jacobsen's bike was stolen from his garage in Rothwell

They broke in and stole the items from the garage of a house in Horsefair Lane, Rothwell, sometime between 1am and 6am today (Monday).

Owner James Jacobsen is appealing for help in tracing the bike, which has sentimental value for him as he has taken part in charity rides on it, but also for the safe return of the swords which could be dangerous in the wrong hands.

Mr Jacobsen said: “I brought one of the swords back from Africa in 2002 and one is a futuristic sword so it’s got quite a sharp blade on it.”
