Takeaway delivery driver robbed of cash and hit in the head in Northampton

A takeaway delivery driver was robbed and assaulted by two offenders while he was making a 5am call in Northampton.

A takeaway delivery driver was robbed of cash and took a blow to the head in Northampton

Northamptonshire Police today revealed the incident happened in Glebeland Road, Spencer on Sunday, March 19.

The victim was attacked by two unknown attackers who punched him in the side of the head before knocking him to the ground and assaulting him.

A quantity of cash was taken from him before the two men ran off in the direction of an alleyway leading to Brook Lane.

The first attacker was about 5ft 10in with a slim build and he was wearing dark-coloured sports clothing with a hood pulled up and a face covering. He was also wearing gloves.

The second male was wearing similar clothing.
