The venue will show the latest in the Star Wars saga, The Force Awakens, Steven Spielberg’s Jaws and Purple Rain organised by LUNA FLIX Outdoor Cinema. The firm has also expanded the scheme to several new locations.
Simon Hopkins, the organiser, said: “I’m delighted the idea has caught on so well! Last year, local audiences sold out most of our classic movie shows so it’s great to be at new sites partnering with Kettering’s Boughton House, Wellingborough School, Oundle and East Carlton Park as well screening our main season again at Stanwick Lakes.”
All of the summer’s titles have now opened on-line booking at www.lunaflix.co.uk, beginning from Friday May 27 with three consecutive evenings at Stanwick Lakes. First up, is Jaws followed by the latest Star Wars blockbuster The Force Awakens and the ever-popular Abba favourite Mamma Mia!. Purple Rain will be screened as a tribute to Prince on Saturday June 11.
Films including Ghost, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Life Of Brian, Back To The Future, Pitch Perfect, Labyrinth, Stand By Me, The Blues Brothers and The Shawshank Redemption will also be shown before the end of September.
