As well as the dog wash, The Works, Levi’s, Frasers encorporating Flannels, USC, GAME and Sports Direct have opened stores, with Asian street food restaurant Chi coming soon.

Donna French, centre manager at Rushden Lakes, said: “We’re incredibly excited to welcome The Works, Frasers, Chi, Levi’s, and our brand-new dog wash to the centre, they make wonderful additions to our current offering.

"I’m sure this is news our local shoppers and visitors are equally excited about as we welcome them back to the centre this month.

"I can’t wait to see the guests, including our four-legged friends, all enjoying the new additions at Rushden Lakes.”

The self-service pooch parlour is flexible and easy to use, offering warm water infused with shampoo and conditioner, finished by a two-speed blow dry function.

Low-cost, the service with prices starting at £3, is paw-fect for keeping mucky feet off the car seats after a stroll around the lake.
