A 25-year-old woman was killed when she was stabbed in Wellingborough Road near St George's Way in Rushden yesterday, Saturday, December 7, at around 8.30pm.
Wellingborough Road was closed between Masefield Drive and Gravely Street for most of today (Sunday) while police investigated.
Northamptonshire Police's search team posted on Twitter at 7.30pm this evening (Sunday) to say road closures have been lifted but police are continuing to search for evidence.
A 13-year-old boy and a 27-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of murder.

A second 27-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after he allegedly seriously assaulted the 27-year-old man suspected of killing her.Police are appealing for any information relating to the incident.
