The air ambulance is currently in Kettering dealing with an emergency incident.

The helicopter was spotted above Kettering and landing towards the south of the town at around 1.20pm this afternoon (Friday).

There are two ambulances, a paramedic car and police vehicles in attendance at an address in Silverwood Road, Kettering.

A spokesman for East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS) said: "We received a call at 12.59pm today, Friday, August 7 to a private address in Kettering to assist with a medical emergency.

"We currently have a paramedic in an ambulance car and two crewed ambulances on scene with the air ambulance also in attendance."

A Northamptonshire Police spokesman said officers are on the scene.

The road has been closed.
