After reviewing their agreement, the council and Greatwell Homes will extend the work they’re doing to continue to provide vital temporary accommodation and support to residents facing

homelessness.

Greatwell Homes will work with households to provide benefit advice, financial management skills and signpost to opportunities for training and employment.

The council will work with residents to provide holistic support throughout the process by establishing tailor made housing plans and establishing a permanent housing solution.

Wellingborough Council leader Cllr Martin Griffiths said: “We are proud to have extended our partnership with Greatwell Homes to provide vital support, advice and safe accommodation for residents.

"Our housing team is committed to working with households to find a permanent housing solution and ensure they have the support they need in the long term.”

Chief Executive of Greatwell Homes, Jo Savage, said: “We’re delighted to be continuing our work with the Borough Council of Wellingborough to support those who are, or will soon

become, homeless in the local area.

"Making sure everyone has a safe place to live is particularly important in the current situation and we hope to continue the great work we have done jointly over the past year.

“Our skilled staff will also ensure the best benefit advice and financial training is given to these individuals to support them as best as we can.”
