Community projects are being invited to take part in the Northamptonshire Virtual Funding Fair 2021 taking place from June 15 to June 17.

After a difficult year for community projects, this will be the opportunity for groups from across Northamptonshire to listen to presentations from local and national funders who can help contribute towards community projects in the county.

Across the three days, there will a variety of funders presenting including the Heritage Lottery, Children in Need and SEMLEP, plus many more organisations who can all help provide much needed funding for projects.

Each of the sessions will provide information on how best to apply for grants, along with a hints and tips presentation.

The Virtual Funding Fair is being organised by North Northamptonshire Council in partnership with the Voluntary Sector ‘Northamptonshire Development and Funding Workers Network.’

Cllr Andy Mercer, executive member for housing and communities, at North Northamptonshire Council said: “Now more than ever, community projects are seeking financial boosts to help them mitigate the impact of the coronavirus pandemic and this virtual funding fair is essential for anyone looking to fund a project who wants to find out more about the opportunities available to them.

“There are plenty of schemes on offer that people may not be aware of, with new schemes appearing all the time, so we would encourage anyone who is considering a project to join us at one, or more, of our sessions between 15 - 17 June.”

All sessions will take place on Zoom and places must be booked in advance by completing the online form at www.northnorthants.gov.uk/fundingfair21.
