Police investigating '˜deliberate' fire at Kettering allotment

The incident took place at the allotments in Margaret Road at about 10pm, with three sheds completely destroyed by a fire.

A spokesman for Northants Police confirmed that they believe the fire was started deliberately.

The spokesman said: “We were called to an incident in Margaret Road at about 10pm last night.

“We believe the fire was deliberate and an investigation is under way.”

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area at the time.
