PICTURE GALLERY: Wellingborough Medieval Festival
Axe throwers, archery, ferrets and a medieval fair all helped to ensure that Wellingborough town centre was the place to be seen during the weekend.
Other attractions included knights in armour on the Tithe Barn lawn and re-enactors setting up camp in Croyland Gardens.

Hide AdJohn Cable, executive director of the Wellingborough Business Improvement District (BID), said: “It was very encouraging to see so many people come down to enjoy the entertainment on offer.
“Despite being in its sixth year, it continues to enlighten visitors about by-gone times.
“The enthusiasm of the actors and entertainers was infectious and really had people captivated.
“It was great to see so many people enjoy what was on offer and hopefully helped to renew love for the town at the same time giving a reason to be proud of our little corner of Northamptonshire.”
