World Book Day is an annual event across the UK, where children of all ages have the opportunity to celebrate their favourite stories, authors and characters.
In Northamptonshire, it's safe to say the spirit of the day is as powerful as ever. We’ve had a brilliant morning compiling some of the best costumes from iconic comic characters to literary staples like Matilda, Harry Potter and Diary of a Wimpy Kid.
Yet again you’ve shown that World Book Day is one of the most memorable days of the year, and so to celebrate the hard work done by parents and pupils across the county, we’ve put together a collection of some of our absolute favourites.
If you want to send in your photos, email us at [email protected] for a chance to be featured.
