Wildlife expert, writer and presenter Philippa Forrester live and in conversation at Stanwick Lakes
Wildlife expert, writer and presenter Philippa Forrester will be live and in conversation at Stanwick Lakes next month.
Tickets are now available for the event on March 24.
A spokesman for Stanwick Lakes said: “We’re very excited to welcome Philippa Forrester to Stanwick Lakes in March.
"Philippa brings her expertise as a wildlife presenter and conservationist to Stanwick Lakes for a compelling talk about ‘Why is Stanwick Lakes so important for wetland wildlife.’

"Learn about the remarkable species and habitats that call our reserve home and discover why protecting local wetlands matters globally.
"As an independent charity, this offers a fantastic opportunity for Stanwick Lakes to support vital conservation work, education programmes and the ongoing care of this special wetland landscape.
"It’s events like these, alongside memberships, donations and voluntary work, to name a few, that allow us to continue the important conservation and charitable work we do here.”
The event is taking place on Tuesday, March 24, from 2pm in the site’s event marquee.
After the talk, people will be able to put their questions to Philippa in a live question and answer session and get a copy of her latest book, Wild Woman, personally signed.
The spokesman added: “This promises to be an inspiring talk, ideal for anyone with an interest in wildlife, conservation and rewilding.
"Early booking is recommended.”
To make the occasion extra special, afternoon tea will be available to enjoy in the visitor centre on the day and can be booked alongside your ticket. Prices are from £24.95 per person.
