Tickets for pop favourites McFly's Wicksteed Park debut have now gone on sale with the band promising to bring their hands-in-the-air rock and pop to Kettering this summer.

Marking the momentous return of live music, promoters are preparing to unleash the ultimate summer party at Wicksteed Park on Friday, August, 27.

After selling out their reunion show at The O2 Arena in London in 2019, McFly are back on the road in 2021. Tom, Danny, Dougie and Harry are set to take to the stage for a few exclusive outdoor events.

McFly said: "Nothing is as exciting as playing live and we can't wait to perform in front of our fans, we've missed you all so much. We’re going to bring festival vibes and hands-in-the-air positivity, bring on the summer of fun."

Wicksteed Open Air Theatre tickets have been flying out the door with tickets for Craig David, UB40, 80s in the Park proving hugely popular. Comedy In the Park is also sold out and fans are advised to sign up for the pre-sale early to avoid disappointment.

Attendees can expect a full on festival atmosphere with one of the best live bands around. ”

Ticket prices range from £74.25 including booking fee for VIP tickets, with general admission seats £54.45 including booking fee. VIP parking is £22, whilst standard and disabled parking is £11.

It is ten years since the last McFly album ‘Above The Noise' but the band are back releasing their sixth studio album ‘Young Dumb Thrills’, the band say it felt like no time had passed between this and 2010’s Above The Noise.

McFly have seven UK number-one singles, five top-ten albums, six sell-out tours and ten million records sold worldwide. and the band have promised to play their best-loved mega-hits such as All About You, Obviously, Star Girl, One for the Radio and Shine a Light. Fans can also expect tracks from new album ‘Young Dumb Thrills’ and latest single ‘Happiness’.

A spokesman said: "Along with a star-studded program packed with hits, M&B’s world-class staging will include dazzling light effects, atmospheric lasers and breathtaking pyrotechnics, putting music fans right at the heart of the action.

Tickets for the event are on sale via www.wicksteedopenair.com. Fans have been advised to get their tickets fast as more than 5,000 people have already applied for pre-sale tickets which are now sold out.
