Wicksteed Park car boot sales return a decade after they were scrapped
Wicksteed Park car boot sales will make a limited return – a decade after they were scrapped.
In 2016, management announced the popular events would be stopped due to plans to enhance and expand the park’s ‘core attractions’ with the land used for the sales required for other purposes.
But after being parked for 10 years, the Great Wicksteed Car Boot Sale returns on selected Sundays from midday (set-up from 11am) until 4pm.
A spokesman for WIcksteed Park said: “You’ve been asking for it, so we’re bringing it back. Car boot sales are returning to Wicksteed Park!

“Join us on selected Sundays for the Great Wicksteed Car Boot Sale from midday until 4pm.”
All on a Sunday, the dates include: May 17, June 21, July 19, August 9 and September 13, 2026.
Sellers must book their spot online, with household sellers costing £15 per vehicle and traders costing £25 per vehicle. Entry includes parking for one vehicle, but parking registrations must be given in advance.
Buyers can enter for free but must pay for parking.
