Hide AdAcaster's love of Wicksteed is well-known as his Great British Bake Off showstopper was a tribute to the park and he is even an ex-employee.
He said: "It’s taken over a decade of gigging but this little Kettering boy is finally going to achieve his lifelong goal and perform at Wicksteed Park. Thank you for this gift."
Host Tom Davis, best known for his show 'Murder in Successville', said: "I’m double excited to be hosting this event to mark the return of live comedy.
"It will be my first time performing in a park since quitting Sunday league, hopefully I can bring the same amount of laughter to this as me playing football brought to many."
