Wellingborough Town Football Club's youth teams get new sponsorship with fresh home and away kits

Wellingborough Town Football Club’s entire youth section has been given new home and away kits, as well as tracksuits by a pair of local businesses.

Each of the Wellingborough club’s teams, from under-7s to under-16s will wear the sponsors on the shirts for the foreseeable future.

The move, by K9 Security Protection based in Northampton and Hannah Solicitors in Rushden, means that almost 200 children ranging from ages six to 16 will have an all-new look for the season.

Leaders at the club believe it will give the teams a ‘consistent identity for the first time in our 21 year history.’

Gareth Jones, chairman of Wellingborough Town Youth Football Club, said: “This has meant the world to our kids and our coaches, and you can feel the sense of pride and family across all the boys and girls when they don their new kits and run out on to the pitch.

“What Hannah Solicitors and K9 Security Protection have done for us is game-changing, and has allowed us to not only grow further as a club without the endless stress of looking for new sponsors but also to keep the costs for parents down in a time where money is tight for many people, something that's important to our club philosophy.”

Wellingborough Town Youth Football Club is based at the Dog and Duck ground in London Road, and is currently being upgraded to a two-star FA Accreditation after the introduction of its first full girls team this season.

Several of its age groups are fighting it out at the top of their league tables and aiming to reach cup finals in the new year.

The club will host its annual family day on May 23 at the Dog and Duck ground, which is free to attend at the conclusion of the 2025-26 season.

Anyone who is interested in either playing, coaching or volunteering can use the opportunity to learn more about the club and get to know its ‘family feel’.
