Wellingborough Post Office branch to close for refurbishment

A Post Office in Wellingborough is set to close for more than two weeks while it undergoes refurbishment.

Berrymoor Road Post Office will close temporarily due to extensive building work at the premises.

To allow for the work to take place, the branch in Berrymoor Court will close at 9pm on Saturday, February 29, and it is due to re-open at 7am on Tuesday, March 17.

During the temporary closure, customers can access Post Office services from other branches in the area, including the Northampton Road branch and Wellingborough Post Office in Sheep Street.

Anthony Bayley, Post Office area change manager, said: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused to our customers during the work.

"The safety of our customers is of paramount importance to us, therefore, to allow for the building work to take place, it will be necessary for the service to close temporarily.”
