Wellingborough neighbours NN8-ed with cash after postcode lottery win

Five people in Wellingborough are celebrating after winning £1,000 each thanks to their lucky postcode.

The Dene Close neighbours netted the windfall when NN8 5QP was announced as a daily prize winner with the People’s Postcode Lottery yesterday (Thursday).

People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt sent her well-wishes to the winners.

She said: “What a lovely surprise. Congratulations to all the winners in Wellingborough, I hope the win lifts their spirits and they enjoy spending the prize money.”

A minimum of 32 per cent of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised over £600 million to date for thousands of good causes.

This draw was promoted on behalf of Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) which has received more than £3.5 million in funding thanks to players.
