Wellingborough house burglary appeal for witnesses

Police are appealing for witnesses to a house burglary in Somerford Road, Wellingborough, that took place last Thursday (January 21).

It's not believed anything was stolen during the incident, which took place between 5pm and 8pm.

A spokesman for Northamptonshire Police said: "Police officers are appealing for witnesses after a residential burglary in Somerford Road, Wellingborough.

"Between 5pm and 8pm on Thursday, January 21, the offender or offenders entered the property via a rear window. Once inside, they have carried out an untidy search, however it is not believed anything was stolen.

"Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area between the stated times."
