A Wellingborough firm is doing its best to continue supporting customers, including those who are or who directly support essential services such as the NHS and police.

RAO Stationers, based on Wellingborough's Park Farm industrial estate, has introduced various measures to ensure it can remain open.

"We are adhering to all advice provided by the World Health Organisation, UK Government and NHS and will continue to do so and will follow developments daily.

"During these challenging times and unless directed otherwise by the Government, we remain open and we are attempting to maintain as normal a level of service as possible in order to support our customers, some of whom are, or directly support, our essential services such as the NHS, police forces and local authorities.

"Therefore, we are implementing appropriate measures to ensure that we can continue to deliver a high level of service whilst also providing a safe working environment for our people.

"We have implemented plans to minimise the effects on our business and safeguard our colleagues and we have prioritised working from home for some office-based colleagues as part of that plan.

"Product availability remains good, however in order to meet these challenges there will be some necessary changes to delivery schedules.

"Our sales team are contactable by telephone or email in order to deal with your enquiries and inform you of any changes to our usual delivery patterns.

"All of our delivery drivers have been given strict instructions regarding hand hygiene and social distancing and will respect and adhere to individual customer’s site rules and restrictions."

The company has reduced its working hours from 8am to 5pm and any phone calls or emails after 5pm will be dealt with the next working day.

And Mr Osborne added: "All at RAO Stationers wish you well during these truly unprecedented and challenging times."

Established in 1992, RAO Stationers is an independent office products dealer which supplies office products, furniture and seating to offices, industry, schools and local authorities throughout the UK.
