A 31-year-old Wellingborough man was taken to hospital after being hit while riding an e-scooter on a zebra crossing.
A silver Nissan Micra collided with the scooter on the crossing at the junction of Sywell Road and Hardwick Road at 6.30pm on Tuesday (June 22).
The scooter rider was aided by members of the public before being taken to University Hospital Coventry with serious injuries where he remains on life support in intensive care.
E-scooters have been part of an official trial taking place across Northamptonshire since March.
