Two people were cut free from vehicles after a collision in Beanfield Avenue, Corby, earlier today.

Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue said on Twitter it responded to the incident at around 4pm today.

The collision involved two vehicles and two people were trapped.

Two crews from Corby attended and the two people were freed using hydraulic cutting equipment and stabilization gear.

The two people were taken to hospital.
