Local policing teams regularly set priorities to help them target specific issues for different areas.

A spokesman for Northants Police told the Northants Telegraph: “Tackling the issues that matter to our local communities is the bread and butter of neighbourhood policing and that’s why each local area has its own local priorities.

“These local policing priorities are set twice a year and are based on local crime statistics, information from partner agencies and feedback from the community.
