Police are appealing for witnesses after a group of teenagers were assaulted by another group in Wellingborough.

A group of teenagers were approached by another group with knives at about 11pm on Wednesday, February 19, in the small park in Newcomen Road.

One of the offenders pushed one of the teenagers off his bike before they all ran away, stating they had got the wrong people.

The first offender is described as a boy of dual heritage, aged 16 to 19, about 5ft 10in, of skinny build and wearing a face covering, a tight puffer-style jacket and black jogging bottoms.

The second offender is described as a boy of dual heritage, aged 16 to 19, about 5ft 10in, of medium build, wearing a face covering with white swirls on, a black jacket with a furry hood and black jogging bottoms.

The third boy was also dual heritage with braided hair and a face covering, aged 16 to 17, with a skinny athletic build.

He was wearing a puffer jacket with a hood and black jogging bottoms.
