A 16-year-old boy was arrested after being found with Class A and B drugs in a Rushden park.

Officers arrested him following a short foot chase yesterday (Monday).

A spokesman for Northants Police said: "A 16-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply in Trafford Road, Rushden, after a short foot chase.

"He was found with Class A and B drugs.

"He has been released under investigation pending further enquiries."
