See new play area unveiled at Corby's Priors Hall Park development

A new play area has been unveiled at Corby’s Priors Hall Park.

These pictures show the Village Green, a new play area and the first community space located in the development’s recently launched Zone 2.

The Village Green is designed to be a vibrant, engaging space for residents of all ages with timber climbing frames, swings, slides and a variety of additional play equipment.

It has a distinctive feature tree with wraparound seating alongside a games area equipped with pétanque, table tennis and a ball labyrinth.

This is the latest addition to the development as Zone 1 already boasts five play areas, with play themes defined by their landscape characters.

Each area features timber play equipment suitable for children of all ages.

Zone 2 can be found just off the new A43 roundabout near Weldon.

Nigel Wakefield, development director for Urban & Civic at Priors Hall Park, said: “We have placed great value on creating green spaces for our new and growing communities and it is fantastic to see children enjoying our unique and varied play spaces.

"In addition to our thriving district centre, we’re confident that Priors Hall Park will continue to be an attractive prospect for families looking for a new home in a place that boasts schools, shops, play areas and green spaces.”

Priors Hall Park is now home to more than 1,850 houses and recently launched new Zones 2 and 3 of the development, with new homes available to buy from Taylor Wimpey, Davidsons Homes, Barratt Homes, David Wilson Homes and Bovis Homes.

Once complete Priors Hall Park will have 5,325 new homes in total, with two new primary schools, additional formal open spaces, sports pitches and community facilities to be delivered.
