Swanspool Pavilion will re-open on November 11 with an all-new art deco makeover, with the space being refurbished over the summer.

Swanspool Pavilion was transferred to Wellingborough Town Council from North Northants Council in May 2025.

The town council has been working over the summer to improve the asset, with plans to use it for events such as parties and celebrations, community groups and clubs.

The project has been funded by the Community Ownership Fund and The National Lottery, and with just weeks to go before it re-opens to the public, the first pictures of the inside of the now-transformed space have been shared by the town council.

A Wellingborough Town Council spokesman said: “Do join us for the 1940s launch evening and if you are looking for venue, it gives a fuller showcase of what Swanspool Pavilion can do for your evening functions.

"Let us celebrate together our newly refurbished pavilion in style.”
