Rushden Hall closed to the public due to coronavirus

Rushden Hall has been closed to the public and will remain closed throughout April.

The hall, situated in Hall Park in Rushden, is home to Rushden Town Council as well as being a venue which can be hired out for weddings, civil partnerships, parties and other special occasions.

But due to the coronavirus outbreak, the hall will be closed until the end of April.

A spokesman for Rushden Town Council said: "After careful thought, Rushden Town Council has made the decision to cancel all bookings taking place at Rushden Hall until the end of April, with immediate effect.

"We will be regularly reviewing the situation, taking into account government guidance and will advise of any future changes as soon as we can.

"Staff will continue to work, but the offices at Rushden Hall will be closed to the public until further notice.
