A charity event in Rothwell Square on Saturday, July 18, raised hundreds of pounds for Wicksteed Park.
The event, organised by Gill Hill, featured local singer Barry Hale, Spiderman, Wicky Bear and there were stocks where people could throw soaked sponges at those trapped!
There was a raffle and auction and altogether the event raised an amazing £727.47 for the park.
