Rats dumped in alley and 'left with the rubbish' rescued by Northamptonshire animal charity
Rats found dumped in a box in an alley have been taken in by a Northamptonshire charity to try and find them a ‘kind, loving home’.
After a ‘pretty awful start,’ the rats are being cared for by Animals In Need in Little Irchester.
Sanctuary manager Annie Marriott said: “These lovely rats were found dumped in a box in an alley, left with the rubbish.
"It’s so sad to think that anyone could leave them like that.
"Thankfully, they’re now safe with us at Animals in Need and getting the care they deserve.
"They’ve had a pretty awful start but they’re safe now and we’d love to find them a kind, loving home where they’ll be cared for as they deserve.
"If you think you could offer these little ones a home, please get in touch with Animals in Need to find out more.”
Animals In Need has been rescuing and rehoming animals across Northamptonshire for 35 years.
