Police investigate harassment allegation after Kettering flag downers messaged on social media
Northants Police are investigating harassment allegations following a flag removal incident in Kettering.
After the identities of three men who had been removing Union and St George flags from lampposts in Kettering had been published on social media, the flag removers were allegedly sent abusive messages.
When asked about the allegation of harassment on social media, a spokesman for Northants Police confirmed that ‘investigations are continuing’.
The photographs of the three men and another flag downer have since been removed.
