Police find no damage to Wollaston water mains after fears of tampering
Police found no signs of damage in Wollaston streets where residents had reported suspicious behaviour around water mains and manhole covers.
In a post widely shared on social media today (Saturday), Wollaston residents were suspicious that a van was tampering with water mains in Red Hill Crescent and Priory Road.

Hide AdA Northamptonshire Police spokesman said officers had visited the scene to investigate suspicious circumstances around manhole covers and water mains.
The spokesman said: "Officers found no damage caused to any street furniture."
