Police appeal for help tracking man in connection with Kettering robbery

Northamptonshire Police are asking for help tracing a man who they would like to question regarding an attempted robbery in Kettering on New Year's Day.

Charles Wilson, also known as Charlie, is 56 and had an address in Northampton but also has connections to Wellingborough.

A spokesman for Northamptonshire Police said: "We are appealing for information regarding the location of 56-year-old Charles Wilson, also known as Charlie.

"Officers would like to speak Wilson in connection with an attempted robbery, which took place at about 3.15pm on New Year’s Day - Friday, January 1- at an address in Barnes Close, Kettering.

"His last known address is in Northampton, but it is believed Wilson could also be in the Wellingborough area.

"Anyone who sees Wilson, or has information about his whereabouts, should call Northamptonshire Police on 101 quoting the incident number 21000002215."
