The ribbon cutting for the town’s new store in Arnsley Road took place on October 29.
It is the supermarket chain’s second store in the town, with Lidl proud to have already served households and the wider community in Corby for almost two decades.
Situated in a prominent position on a key route into town, bosses say the new store will serve a key strategic location connecting the growing Priors Hall development with the town's major industrial and employment hubs.
The store has created up to 40 new jobs.
The store features the discounter’s popular in-store bakery, iconic Middle of Lidl aisle and customer facilities, including toilets with baby-changing.
Speaking ahead of the official opening, Andrew Hodgkinson, regional head of property for Lidl GB, said: “We are thrilled to officially open our second Lidl store in Corby.
"This fantastic new store is a direct response to the local demand for high-quality, affordable groceries and we couldn’t be prouder to welcome the community inside.”
The store’s opening hours are 8am to 10pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.
