Christmas is fast approaching, which means it’s the time of year where local communities celebrate the season with a whole host of activities.

For schools, this means the annual staging of the Nativity, a retelling of the birth of the Jesus in Bethlehem.

It’s a decades-old tradition that happens up and down the country, and in Northamptonshire it has been no different. Schools across the county have been sparkling and shining for years, so with Christmas just a few short weeks away, let us be your Ghost of Christmas Past with a trip back to the 2000s and beyond to see how the Nativity was told in our county all those years ago.
