Opening of Rushden Lakes' new restaurant DELAYED by storm damage
Lago Lounge is the latest victim of Storms Ciara and Dennis after having to put back its opening date twice.
The new restaurant, which is part of the Loungers chain, was due to open at Rushden Lakes today (Wednesday) but Storm Ciara led to this date being moved to February 26.

It means customers will have to wait a bit longer until they see how Lago Lounge compares to its sister restaurants Kino Lounge in Kettering, Wellingborough's Castello Lounge and Paletto Lounge in Corby.
A post on Lago Lounge's Facebook page said: " We’re so sorry to do this to you twice but we’ve had to cancel Lago Lounge’s Launch party on the 26th February.
"The reason for the first cancellation was that Storm Ciara damaged the roof of the shopping centre causing an entire section of the shopping centre to close and no access given to anyone, not even our build team.

"We will be in touch when we have regained access and a new date for our party.
"Please let us know if you need anything beforehand."
The shopping centre's leisure terrace was forced to shut until further notice after the external cladding was damaged by Storm Ciara.
A total of 15 businesses have been closed because of the damage, including 360 Play, Cineworld, Paradise Island Adventure Golf, Flip Out, Rock Up, Hopmaster, Blue Mountain Yard, Starbucks, Heavenly Desserts, TGI Fridays, Nando's, Zizzi, Five Guys, and Greggs.
The rest of Rushden Lakes' shopping and eating attractions are open as normal.
