Clap for our Carers is back tonight at 8pm following last week's round of applause for the NHS and healthcare workers.

The event was the result of a social media campaign to show our appreciation for the NHS as they tackle the COVID-19 crisis.

Last week's Clap for our Carer's at 8pm was a huge success, with people from all over Northamptonshire joining in.

We asked for your videos and were overwhelmed by the response - you can see a video made from lots of your clips above.

There were huge rounds of applause all over the UK and videos showed the cheers drowning out any other noise in big cities like London.

The public's appreciation for the NHS comes as our healthcare workers push for more personal protective equipment to keep them safe while they treat coronavirus patients and for testing of NHS staff.

Four doctors in the UK have died from COVID-19 and one in four are off work at the moment either with symptoms or self-isolating because someone in their household has symptoms.

Doctors, nurses and other key workers in our hospitals are saying they need PPE and increased testing in order to do their jobs safely and effectively.
