Northamptonshire pub landlords set to leave and look to 'begin a new chapter'
The landlords of The Old Swan in Earls Barton will leave the pub in July, thanking locals for supporting the business’ through thick and thin’.
The pub in the Square will seek new landlords in the weeks to come to take on the day-to-day running of the premises.
A message from the landlords, Paul and Keith was posted to the pub’s Facebook page. It reads: “After 10 wonderful years, the time has come for us to pour our final pints and begin a new chapter.
We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has walked through our doors over the years. To our regulars who became family, the locals who supported us through thick and thin, and every single person who shared a laugh a story, or a drink with us, you are what made this pub truly special.

"It has been an absolute privilege to be part of this community. Thank you for all the memories, which we will treasure forever.”
The landlords’ final weekend at the Earls Barton pub will be on July 11 and 12, after which the pub will seek new faces behind the bar.
To mark their departure, the pub will host a live music event on Friday, July 10, with a performance by Daniel Butterworth and further live music from pop rock indie cover band, Frettlyst.
The Old Swan has seen many changes over the years including a renovated outdoor area and renewed food options and menu.
A spokesman from Earls Barton Parish Council (EBPC) said: “On behalf of EBPC, I would like to wish you well for the future.
"You have achieved so much over the past 10 years and turned The Swan into a true 'local'. You have supported many events, including sponsoring and entering the Soap Box Derby, and you have truly deserved the awards you won for the support you provided to the community, especially during Covid.
" We hope you enjoy your last couple of month in The Swan, and then get to have a well deserved break.”
In the meantime, the pub will continue to host its regular quiz nights and lunchtime specials.
