North Northamptonshire libraries have launched a handful of new fun and informative activities in collaboration with North Northants Leisure that focus on the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
World Cup fever has gripped the nation in the unusual winter time-slot, and as England has firmly cemented its place in the knockout stage of the tournament, the belief that Gareth Southgate’s side may finally achieve that ever-elusive second victory at the tournament is continuing to build.

The competition will have entrants design a football kit, and the first three submissions at each library will receive an official World Cup sticker book to collect all the players at the Qatar tournament.
The activities and competition will be available until December 24, just two days before top flight, domestic football restarts as the Premier League gets under way.
Cllr Helen Howell said: “I’m delighted that sports fans young and old will be able to take part in the football fun we have on offer over the next month or so.
