Most newspaper articles are quite serious so it is refreshing every now and again when a bizarre or hilarious Northamptonshire story catches our eyes on the feed.

9. Northampton woman arrested for stealing a chicken kiev
Viewers up and down the county tuned in to the popular Channel 4 series '999: What's Your Emergency?', which follows Northamptonshire Police as they attend incidents across the county. One memorable incident involved police attending a burglary at a local hostel where a woman went into someone else's room, stuffed a frozen chicken kiev down her bra and made off with it. She was subsequently arrested.
