New singing club for women launching in Oundle
Women of all singing abilities are invited to join The Vocal Club’s newest group in Oundle.
Local business The Vocal Club is launching in Oundle in September, offering local women the opportunity to build their social circle while experiencing the physical and mental health benefits of group singing – all without the pressure of performances.
Launching on Thursday, September 17 at Fletton House, the weekly sessions run from 7.15pm to 8.30pm and are designed to be welcoming and accessible.
Membership requires no audition and no prior experience, with a huge range of music being sung, including pop, musical theatre, folk, Disney and more traditional but still simple choral pieces.

The Vocal Club is different to a standard choir in that there are no performances.
Members simply get to enjoy weekly singing sessions learning a variety of songs, as well as having termly socials organised for them.
Brooke Peverell, founder and musical director, said: “Singing together is one of the most powerful ways to boost well-being and build lasting friendships.
"We want to create an inclusive, supportive space where women can take time out for themselves, unwind and discover the joy of making music together without the pressure of performances."
Spaces are limited and must be booked in advance.
