New opening date for Rushden Lakes' next restaurant revealed

Customers will finally be able to try out Rushden Lakes' new restaurant after it revealed its new opening date.
National chain Loungers - who already have cafe bars in Kettering, Corby and Wellingborough - are opening Lago Lounge at the end of the retail park's leisure terrace.

Hide AdThey had been hoping to open Lago Lounge last month, but it fell victim to Storms Ciara and Dennis and had to put its opening date back twice.
However, the new restaurant has today revealed that it will be opening in just a weeks' time.
A tweet from Lago Lounge said: "Great news! We open on the 11th March!
"We can't wait to see you in our new lounge.
"We'd also like to thank you as we've been blown away by your patience after the storm (if you'll pardon the pun)"

Hide AdThe Loungers chain already has several county branches, including Kino Lounge in Kettering, Wellingborough's Castello Lounge, Paletto Lounge in Corby and Zapato Lounge in Northampton.
Menu choices at Loungers restaurants include brunches, sandwiches, tapas dishes and burgers as well as a gluten-free and vegan menu.
Lago Lounge is the latest restaurant to open at Rushden Lakes, which has attracted millions of visitors since it opened in 2017.
Other restaurants that have already opened include Nando's, Wagamama, Five Guys and Bill's as well as Caribbean restaurant Blue Mountain Yard.
