New gym opening in Wellingborough tomorrow
A new gym is set to open in Wellingborough tomorrow (Thursday, January 1).
Urban Gym will be opening its doors in Cheyne Avenue on the town’s Glenvale Park development.
The new fitness facility will be located on the first floor above the Co-op store and will provide a range of activities to cater for all fitness levels including classes and personal training sessions.
A post on the new gym’s Facebook page says: “Our brand new Urban Gym opens on the 1st January, and you can still grab your membership with ZERO joining fee.
"Just use the code “URBANZERO.”
"Real thought, care and serious time has been put into this gym, and we cannot wait for you to see it."
Speaking back in January when details about the gym were revealed, Oliver Mcloughlin, director of Urban Gym Ltd, said: “We’re excited to bring Urban Gym Ltd to Glenvale Park and provide a fully equipped, high-end fitness facility for the local community.
“With premium equipment, a diverse programme of classes and a welcoming team, we look forward to supporting residents on their fitness and well-being journeys.”
Following the official opening on New Year’s Day, the gym is holding an open weekend on Saturday (January 3) and Sunday (January 4) from 9am to 8pm.
People are invited to go along to have a look around, test out the equipment and meet the team.
The new gym will be part of the amenities delivered as part of phase one of the development at Glenvale Park, which alongside hundreds of new homes includes a primary school and the retail hub.
